Recently Ricston Ltd. has contributed a number of transports to the Mule Community, these include Bonita, SugarCRM, Salesforce, RabbitMQ and Qpid. We will be covering all of these transports in a series of posts over the coming weeks; in this post we give details for the Mule-SugarCRM transport.
SugarCRM is an open source Customer Relationship Management application written in PHP. The Sugar CRM Mule transport enables Mule to interact with a SugarCRM server, anywhere on the network. This transport interacts with the SugarCRM server using the SOAP API. The SOAP API includes features for a developer to allow Mule to communicate with SugarCRM in a variety of ways, for example; query for accounts, modifying contacts, and so on… This transport currently supports Mule 2.x.
The SugarCRM transport page gives instructions on how to install the transport, a step by step description of how to build a Mule configuration file for use with the SugarCRM transport, and finally a description of the examples provided with the transport.
Alternatively, you can download the transport bundled as an eclipse project together with the documentation from the ricston downloads section.
